About 2 New Districts of Nepal from Total 77 Districts - The government of Nepal is separating Nawalparasi and Rukum districts on B.S. 2074 Bhadra 05. After then the total numbers of districts in Nepal reached 77 districts with 2 new districts of Nepal. After separating, these two districts belong in different states currently. 

After separating, Nawalparasi district makes in form of Nawalpur and Parasi and Rukum Makes in form of Eastern Rukum and Western Rukum respectively. Compare to these districts, based on area largest district is western Rukum and smallest district in Parasi. Based on the population most population districts is Parasi and less population district in Eastern Rukum. 

 2 New Districts of Nepal are Nawalpur and Rukum Eastern.

1. Nawalpur District 


Before separating, Nawalpur district belongs in Nawalpasari District and currently, the district is at province no. 4. Headquarter of Nawalpur district is Kawashoti. The total area of this district is 1043 sq. meters and according to national census B.S 2068 the total population is 310,864 people. It has covered by Palpa, Syanja, Parasi, Tanahun, Chitawan districts, and some portion India. 

2. Parasi District


Before separating, Parasi district belongs in Nawalpasari District and currently, the district is at province no. 5. Headquarter of Nawalpur district is Ramgram. The total area of this district is 635 sq. meters and according to national census B.S 2068 the total population is 321,058 people. It has covered by Palpa, Nawalpur, Rupandehi districts and some portion India. 

3. Eastern Rukum


Before separating, Eastern Rukum district belongs in Rukum District and currently, the district is at province no. 5. Headquarter of Nawalpur district is Rukumkot. The total area of this district is 1161 sq. meters and according to national census B.S 2068 the total population is 53,018 people. It has covered Bagjung, Dolpa, Rolpa, Myagdi, and Western Rukum districts. 

4. Western Rukum


Before separating, Western Rukum district belongs in Rukum District and currently, the district is at province no. 6. Headquarter of Nawalpur district is Musikot. The total area of this district is 1213.49 sq. meters and according to national census B.S 2068 the total population is 154,272 people. It has covered Jajarkot, Dolpa, Rolpa, Salyan, and eastern Rukum districts.
